Givers gain …

A while ago I posted a desperate yet hopeful post about our piles of donations stuck in my house, as we faced a few governments in the region asking for ridicules tax on donations... I was advised by different NGOs to send cash rather than pay for tax and to pass the boxes on to a closer destination.

I was overwhelmed by the number of links and contacts sent to me to help to bring the good somewhere it’s super needed.
Anissa Margono has become my partner to do greater good… she had her routine supporting abroad and a bunch of good hearts joined us ever since… Generous people donate their things, others help to sort and pack, others drive across to deliver the donations etc. etc.
(Paradoxically my passport isn’t accepted in all countries in the region… so I’ve never faced the beautiful faces receiving the goods my husband
🙂drives for us. and I enjoy the photos and testimonials by this amazing group of volunteers…

My older son joined them for the first time, seeing with his own naive and pure eyes how a teenager thrive with joy when he gets football boots for the 1st time… how a whole community of underprivileged families, celebrates the blessed energy coming their way, thankful and sharing the good… how they stick together to stay strong and overcome their challenges … some hard challenges…
Tony Robbins says that the power of living – is giving … what a simple powerful truth!
May we always be on the giving side, empowering and supporting others to spread the good later on, like ripples on water.

Med8 has established itself as one of the leading negotiation, training and mediation organisations in Singapore and across its wide network of international affiliates in Australia, Hong Kong and Israel.

Dana Bachar Grossman

Dana Bachar Grossman founded Med8 in 2013 to promote the art of effective communication. The focus was to provide practical training and mediation services to streamline communication, reducing overhead costs, within organisation.

However, over time, partly due to her own growing family, she also recognised a need for Med8’s expertise within educational institutes and with parents and couples.
