Dear Dana,It was our pleasure to host you yesterday! The kids were still talking this morning about what a dynamic speaker you are. We sincerely appreciate the time you spent preparing the slides and for spending the entire day with us yesterday. It was great to chat with you at lunch and get to know you better. We look forward to seeing you again next year. Dana, your perspective was valued and appreciated. There were MANY parents and students from our Day 1 schedule who wished they had an opportunity to hear your presentation.
I have on more than one occasion been in litigation where the parties opted for Mediation. I so much wished that MeD8 had been part of my skills arsenal at those times. The course is one of instruction within a work-shop environment. The experience of observing in real time the approach of peer professionals of different ethnic and cultural backgrounds is so very important to those of us working in this region. The course is designed to give the participants a cogent, organised and systematic methodology for everyday negotiation. That this is accomplished in two days is a mark of experience and professionalism. I recommend it to all, those on the top and those who would be the top. An essential and enjoyable trip!
The workshop was well structured with a good mix of theory and practice - plenty of well-chosen case studies and group exercise to give clear real life contexts. The course presenter was impressive, with a wealth of knowledge from his professional experience bringing interesting and relevant insights into the room. The presentation style and workshop structure was flexible and drew out active and relevant dialogue from all participants. A highly recommended workshop.
You delivered the course in a professional, interesting and fun way, the role plays helped illustrating the main points of the course. By delivering the basic elements and steps of negotiations, it emphasized the importance of relationships building, emotional control ant to aspire to a win-win situation.
As a regional manager in charge of Asia Pacific dealing with sales and contract negotiations daily, I found the Harvard Interest Based Negotiation course by MeD8 an essential tool for success. Being able to stop and rethink the strategies and tactics used throughout negotiations, I have gained an important point of view to [enhance] my day to day skills. Starting from assessing and understanding both parties interests, determining the zone of potential agreement and providing unconventional solutions, which many times allows to enlarge the "pie" and benefit for all parties involved. I now find myself using these techniques not only in negotiating for contracts but also internally within the corporate. i would definitely send my sales team to this course and would highly recommend it ti every person in sales/managerial positions. I will look forward to future training with MeD8 - the cultural differences in Asia and how to deal with them
The session was a very different experience for me. The objectivity with which you approached the problem, the coolness with which you handled the mediation and the empathy with which you handled both parties made me want to learn the art of mediation myself I thank you again - not just for your time, but also for helping me see the other side of the story and for interesting me in the art of mediation. I plan to follow it up with at least a bit of study.
Thanks for mediating our case today. I felt that the process was fair, and that both parties were given due time to air their grievances. The session also helped provide insights into the respondent's behaviour. The issue was resolved, and I also learnt a bit about the nature of contracts, standards, and how to handle situations in a more empathetic manner. Overall, a positive experience - thank you.
As a direct result of the meeting we had with you, things have improved. The financial stuff was, although an issue in its own right, a metaphor for unbalanced power and communication. I think things have improved a lot. This was the "key" to moving forward and both of us have now committed to making efforts to communicate fairly and show kindness and gratitude to the other, to try and solidify the foundation for a happy family life. The main thing is I feel more secure so I can relax enough to assert myself in a fair and kind manner without so much fear of reprisal. Thank you for your intervention and direction. This would never have evolved this way without you.
It was really an amazing experience to join the workshop on negotiation skills. The facilitator was excellent. The whole atmosphere was friendly and well organised. I would definitely recommend it to all my colleagues and friends. For my next session perhaps a follow up to a deeper negotiation program perhaps to include communication and other very important skills that can help me in my career.
I thoroughly enjoyed the 2 day workshop on Negotiation Skills. The content was a great balance of theory, group work and role play that challenged my thoughts and behaviour. The fascillitator was absolutely amazing and engaging us both individually and as a group. I strongly recommend this training as negotiation skills are in essence life skills that can be applied to all situations in the workplace and within communities and families.
I would highly recommend every person to do the cultural intelligence training. Doing business in Asia with numerous countries, clients, distributors and contacts whre's each is from a different culture, country & language - knowing and using cultural intelligence CQ is a must. This course provided a real and powerful tool to all my sales staff, allowing them to improve and strengthen the awareness.
The course provided plenty of insights and simple actionable real-life tips which help in day to day business conducts. The course is highly recommended for any person that engages with inter-personal dialogues on [a] personal, workplace or business level. There is no pre-experience required, the materials are presented with real life examples and role play and to my opinion almost anyone would both enjoy and enrich himself with additional tools to better handle his day to day life interactions.
Dana presented our senior women's forum with negotiation for women. I was very impressed with Dana and the content. With her genuine style and professional content, games and stories, she managed to get the content across in a lively manner and hold the attention of the crowd. She got a record high course rating of 4.5/5 and many participants commented that they would like to bring Dana and MeD8 back for the full 2 day workshop. Great presentation and delivery! Thank you on behalf of the P&G Woman Network.
"Blue House Nursery & International Preschool recently welcomed Dana Grossman from MeD8 to conduct an exercise with it’s team of educators, responsible for children in it’s programmes from 6 months to 6 years old. Blue House’s educational team engage in on-going and lengthy dialogue with families, children and other educators, requiring a heightened sense of highly tuned interpersonal and communication skills. Dana delivered an incredibly articulate and enjoyable workshop. Her humor and candid nature really engaged our team from the onset, but what she delivers with a smile on her face is backed up by powerful research and insight. Dana shared a number of key points of wisdom that have since been regularly and actively shared amongst our team and we are all better for it. We cannot recommend Dana and MeD8 highly enough for their professionalism and depth of content partnered with a warm and friendly manner we can only looking forward to welcoming back to us again in future."
